I Went Akiya Hunting in Tokyo’s Billion-Dollar Neighborhood

I ran through Japan’s richest district to see how many Akiya I could find.

Home to the Imperial Palace, the Prime Minister’s office, and some of the biggest companies in the country.

This is Chiyoda-ku, the heart of Japan’s economy.

Not exactly where you’d expect to find abandoned homes.

But I went for a run there… and what I found might surprise you.
